Returns and complaints
Returns
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason. You have another 14 days after cancellation to return your product. You will then be credited the full order amount including shipping costs. Only the cost of return from your home to the online store is at your own expense. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to the entrepreneur with all delivered accessories and - if reasonably possible - in its original condition and packaging. To exercise this right, please contact us at info@ekowax.eu. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of notification of your return provided the product has already been received in good order.
Sight period & return rules
Orders are subject to a 14-day trial period from the time you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the item.
Within this period, an item may be returned in undamaged condition without giving any reason.
However, you must pay the return postage yourself. Items manufactured especially for you are outside the trial period regulation.
Immediately upon receipt of the item, check that it was delivered undamaged and complete.
Warranty
Ekowax provides the applicable manufacturer's warranty on items delivered by Ekowax. If you wish to make a warranty claim, we ask you to e-mail a detailed complaint description, preferably including pictures, to info@ekowax.eu Upon receipt of your warranty request, you will be contacted within 3 business days as to whether the item should be returned for repair or a replacement item will be provided.
Inside Warranty
If the complaint is justified, all costs for exchanging or having items repaired (including call-out and/or shipping costs) within the warranty period will be borne by Ekowax.
Out of warranty
For out-of-warranty repairs or exchanges, it is sometimes reasonable to pay (part of) the cost yourself. If there are costs for you to resolve an item complaint, we will inform you in advance.
Repair period
From the moment an item to be repaired is under consideration by customer service, we will make every effort to ensure a quick resolution. If the item cannot be repaired or if the repair cannot be carried out under warranty, for example, we will inform you within 21 days about further handling.
Complaints
We always address complaints. Complaints about products, service or deliveries can be made to us by e-mail. We will then work with you to find the best solution. We will respond to each complaint individually and within 3 business days. The complaint is justified if it is not caused by: damage caused intentionally, or by negligence; improper use or negligent maintenance; normal wear and tear; and/or damage caused by failure to observe the instructions for use, or failure to observe them correctly. If this does not lead to a solution, it is possible to submit your dispute for mediation through Stichting WebwinkelKeur. As of Feb. 15, 2016, it is also possible for consumers in the EU to file complaints through the European Commission's ODR platform. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. If your complaint is not already being processed elsewhere, you are free to file your complaint through the European Union platform.
